Eligibility Criteria
Those candidates who want to apply for the IUST Assistant Professor 2025 employment should meet qualifications set by the University Grants Commission (UGC). For roles in technical fields like Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) applicants should have a B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in the related areas both with First Class marks or an equivalent grade. As another option candidates who have a Ph.D. from a high ranked international university–recognized in ranking like QS, THE or ARWU or from a nationally significant institution in India along with a valid GATE qualification are also eligible. For non-technical departments like Economics and Science & Society a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks . For SC, ST and OBC candidates relaxation is given the required marks for them are 50% . Additionally, clearing NET, SET, or SLET is compulsory for eligibility. However those candidates who have a Ph.D. are free from this requirement as long as their doctorate follows with the UGC Regulations of 2009 or 2016.
